Lead HVAC Technician Opportunity – $70K–$120K+, Leadership Role, Growing Company

Air-O-Smith Heating & Air Conditioning is hiring a Lead HVAC Technician in the Outer Banks, NC. We are a veteran-owned, fast-growing company focused on high-quality installs, strong team culture, and long-term growth. This is a full-time leadership role for an experienced technician who can take ownership of installs and service calls, diagnose systems accurately, and represent the company professionally with customers. We offer $30–$45/hour plus performance bonuses, with top technicians earning $70K–$120K+. We are looking for someone with at least 4 years of HVAC experience, strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, EPA certification, and a leadership mindset. You should be comfortable leading jobs from start to finish, mentoring junior technicians, maintaining clean and organized job sites, and communicating clearly with homeowners. Experience with major brands like Trane, Carrier, or Lennox is a plus, as well as the ability to educate customers on repairs or system upgrades in a professional, no-pressure manner.
