Week of the Young Child Children's Festival and Safe Kids Day

Free event for children and their families. An educational and fun day for all. Pony Rides, train rides, miniature pony show, bounce houses, pier fishing, tractors, boats, firetrucks, and more. Ninth Annual Event sponsored by Chowan/Perquimans Smart Start Partnership and Safe Kids of Chowan County (both non-profits). Event is funded by donations from the local community to celebrate our young children and provide them with memorable experiences.
