Step Outside with Girl Scouts

On Sunday, October 25 from 2 to 4 p.m., Girl Scouts of the Colonial Coast will be hosting Step Outside with Girl Scouts, an event for girls and their families to find out about and register for Girl Scouts, while having fun doing outdoor activities. The event will take place at Charles Creek Park, located in the 700 block of Riverside Avenue in Elizabeth City. In case of inclement weather, the event will take place at Riverside United Methodist Church. During the event, girls and their families can take part in a variety of activities, including making a bug box, learning knot tying and creating outdoor-themed crafts. Parents can also learn about the benefits of outdoor experiences for their children and ways to engage their children in outdoor activities. This event is free and open to the public.
