The museum will be hosting the 1663 Carolina Charter for two short days, May 11th and 12th. The charter marks the beginning of organized, representative government in what we now think of as North Carolina, and especially the Albemarle Region. View the charter, visit with several county representatives who will be offering hands-on learning activities for students, and bring a lunch to eat on the grounds.
