Operation: Kids Discover World War I
Step back in time to see the United States enter the Great War in 1917. You'll discover information about the life of a soldier, learn the purpose of a victory garden, and view posters that boosted support for the war. You'll also view the exhibit Tar Heels in the Trenches and hear a few songs from the era.
