History for Lunch: Jim Bunch, North Carolina U-Boats
Jim Bunch-author of several books, including U-Boats off the Outer Banks: Shadows in the Moonlight, his newest-will discuss U-boats along our coast. Bunch is the leading authority on the U-85, first German U-boat sunk by a United States warship in World War II. This project is made possible by funding from the North Carolina Humanities Council, a statewide nonprofit and affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities.
